Who This Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to BandLogix, including the BandLogix mobile app and its related web pages.
BandLogix is a band management app used to organize members, schedules, setlists, song libraries, availability, live show workflows, band chat, and related collaboration data.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication details. Password handling is provided through Supabase Auth, and the app itself does not store raw passwords.
- Profile information you choose to provide, such as your display name, instrument, and calendar color.
- Band and collaboration data, such as band names, invite codes, member roles, membership status, setlists, setlist items, songs, lyrics, arrangement notes, event details, availability records, and gig notes.
- Chat and communication data, such as channel messages, replies, pinned messages, reactions, message read state, and context-linked discussions tied to events, songs, setlists, rehearsals, and other shared workflows.
- Files and media shared in collaboration features, such as PDF song attachments, chat attachments, images, or other files you choose to upload into a band workspace.
- Files and imports that you choose to provide, including spreadsheet imports, public Google Sheets imports, and library-related PDF song attachments.
- Operational usage records needed to run the product, such as live session state, imported file history, chat unread or read markers, and event completion logs.
- Limited device-stored preferences, such as your selected band, theme preference, and footswitch settings, which are stored locally on your device.
How We Use Information
- We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and let approved band members access shared workspaces.
- We use band, schedule, library, chat, and live-session data to provide the app features you request, including planning events, tracking availability, running shows, attaching song charts, and supporting communication inside band workspaces.
- We use chat message state, read markers, and context links so discussions can appear in the right place, such as a channel, a specific event, a song, or a setlist, and so unread indicators can be shown inside the app.
- We use import data and uploaded files to create or enrich your band library when you choose to use those tools.
- We may use operational logs and system data to maintain reliability, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
How Information Is Shared
- Information you add inside a band workspace may be visible to other approved members of that band, based on their access level and the app feature being used.
- Chat messages, attachments, and context-linked discussions may be visible to other approved members who have access to the relevant band, channel, event, song, setlist, or related workspace.
- BandLogix uses Supabase as a service provider for authentication, database, realtime, and storage functionality.
- If you use the Google Sheets import feature, your device sends the Google Sheets URL or spreadsheet ID you provide to Google in order to retrieve exportable sheet data.
- We do not sell personal information, and the current app code does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
Storage And Security
- BandLogix uses authenticated access controls for app data and uses band-scoped permissions for most core records in the current codebase.
- Chat messages, message metadata, and linked collaboration records are intended to be stored with workspace-scoped access controls that limit access based on approved band membership and feature permissions.
- Private PDF song attachments and other private uploaded files are designed to be stored in private storage and accessed through controlled or time-limited URLs when appropriate.
- No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the app.
Your Choices
- You can update certain profile details inside the app, including your display name, instrument, and calendar color.
- You can choose whether to upload files, import spreadsheets, or import data from a public Google Sheet.
- You can sign out at any time, and you can use the in-app account deletion option available from the profile settings area or the public account deletion page at bandlogix.com.
Retention And Deletion
- We retain account and workspace data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain shared band records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Some communication records may be retained in a workspace so that shared history, threaded conversations, moderation actions, or linked discussions continue to make sense for the rest of the band.
- When you request account deletion through the app, BandLogix removes your access and deletes or de-identifies profile-linked records as needed by the backend environment and the need to preserve band history.
- Some records that are part of shared band operations may remain in a de-identified, disassociated, or soft-deleted form after account deletion.
- If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request at bandlogix.com or by emailing support@bandlogix.com.
Children
BandLogix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the last updated date shown on this page.
